Lisa Parks Godfrey has always been a patron of the arts, initially as an art collector. Her entry point to becoming a painter herself however, began with her passion for creating art which was revealed to her while working with children and adults with developmental disabilities in various art programs. Lisa has always admired painters who dedicate themselves to the artist’s journey. She hopes her work brings joy and color to the lives of others.

Lisa is proud to be a founding member of 24 Lincoln Street Art Studios where she has her painting studio in the Fabulous Short North. She is often there working, and most especially she is eager to greet and visit with everyone who stops by.

Lisa is a representational oil painter working in oil in the style of the old masters. Her favorite subject matter is still life arrangements of food that she sets up in her Short North studio.
